Is there a newer firmware available for the Ciphertex NAS Device? Do I need to install it?
Answer:
Contact Ciphertex Technical Support to see if there is a newer version of the firmware available.
If you there is an available firmware update, you may need to download and install it.
Please verify first which version you have in order to compare it to the current release version.
To check which version you have, go to the administration WebGUI page of your NAS Device.
Open the System Administration page and look for "Firmware Update".
Go to that page and the current firmware revision will be displayed.
