The NAS Finder Quick Install Wizard can not find the NAS Device during the discovery process.
Answer:
Windows XP SP1 with Internet Firewall enabled will not allow the Quick Install Wizard to find the NAS Device during the discovery process.
The Internet Firewall must be momentarily disabled for the Quick Install Wizard to find the NAS Device properly.
Once the installation is complete and Shortcut icons are created on the Desktop, the Internet Firewall settings can be re-enabled.
In Windows XP SP2 the Internet Firewall does not need to be disabled.
However, a popup message will appear when running the Quick Install Wizard.
Agree to the popup message to continue with the detection process.
