Question:
What should be done when the disk access rate becomes very slow?
Answer:
1. Restart the NAS server.
2. Check the current disk settings and status. In case of a hard disk failure, repair it ASAP.
3. Check if other network devices have the same problem.
If the internal network is not functioning properly, like when certain PCs are infected, contact your technical support.
4. When there is mass access to disk data or replication is in process, disk access will become slower due to the heavy workload of the Ciphertex NAS.
You may try to access NAS later.
5. If you connect to the NAS through wireless network, try a wired connection.
